  Clostridium sp. as a cause of Endocarditis in a patient with liver Cirrhosis by Janaína Luz NarcisoSchiavon in Journal of Clinical Case Reports Medical Images and Health Sciences Abstract We report the case of a patient with liver cirrhosis admitted with fever and diarrhea, with a positive blood culture for  Clostridium sp . and positive result for fecal glutamate desidrogenase, with cardiac valve vegetation and presumptive diagnosis of endocarditis that was successfully treated with vancomycin.
